![]() We did not stay at the hotel and we did not buy any food there so I can’t speak to those parts. It worked fine I suppose but just could’ve been smoother the other way. Instead everyone was trying to get in and out of the river at the same one set of small stairs, so it was a bit chaotic. I think the lazy river could’ve been managed a bit more smoothly by enforcing separate exiting and entrance areas as the signage indicates. I wish the Dive-in theater kiddie pool was a few degrees warmer but the kids didn’t seem to mind it. The Pelican Perch area is one where it can be hard to see everything that’s going on. If you have younger kids or ones that aren’t strong swimmers I would make sure to constantly have an eye on them. That said, it’s very loud (as these types of places always are) and they couldn’t always get people’s attention. Staff seemed to be paying attention to behavior and correcting issues. There were lines for the lazy river and the big slides where you use an inner tube but they moved along fine. It was a Saturday and pretty busy when we were there but we still managed to find a table and chairs when we arrived around 12:30. We had to go back and ask for some ice because that wasn't helping at all. They just gave us one of those small, semi cold ice packs. Told them she had a big bump on the back of her head. She came to us in tears and we took her to the first aid station and told them what happened. She fell, slamming her head off the hard plastic of the slide. The worst thing was my 12 year old grand-daughter went down one of the middle slides and fell coming off it. People would be waiting for people to come down so they could get a tube for a turn and the people coming down would just keep them and go back up instead of putting them down for the next people and getting back in line. The only thing that was bad about it was the staff watching the slide did not regulate the use of the tubes. One thing we did like was it was not packed so the kids were able to get on the big slides without standing in line for a long time. So I guess depends on who takes your order. We got nothing on the hamburg.two hamburg patties and the bun, but a family member went through a different line and got lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Place was smaller than we expected but the kids had fun. ![]() Featuring giant hot tubs, a swim-through passage, and more, adults will have just as much fun as the kids.Went to spend the day with 5 kids, ages from 12-14.
